                    COGNITIVE MAPPING                     Definition : A cognitive map is any visual representation of a person’s (or a group’s) mental model for a given process or concept. Cognitive maps are the umbrella term for all visual representations of mental models. All mapping techniques described in this article are instances of cognitive maps.  Cognitive maps have no visual rules that they need to obey: there is no restriction on how the concepts and the relationships between them are visually represented. OVERALL REFLECTION- SECOND PHASE OF ONLINE TEACHING PRACTICE

 Due to the current situation of covid-19 the online classes were conducted through Google meet. I selected L.V.H.S   pothencode for my online teaching practice .I got two classes for teaching practice 9N physics and 9G .Within 2 weeks the classes where over.Two classes were taken each day except for the first day. The duration of the class was 30 minutes and I prepare a Power Point presentation to make the class more effective and in every day follow up activity was given. Achievement test was Conducted for 9G class students on the chapter periodic table, the duration of the test was 40 minutes  and the mark for the test was 25 marks For peer  teaching class we have to take 15 classes.Duration of the class was 30 minutes .After every peer teaching classes my  peer trainees point out where should I  improve .Peer teaching is one of the best ways to master a particular subject. WEEKLY REFLECTION- Second Week (2nd phase of online teaching practice)

  During the second week of my second phase teaching practice session I had to take 10 online teaching sessions. On Monday(08/02/2021) I took class for 9N students on topic inertia of rest and inertia of motion from the chapter motion and laws of motion from  And the second class was taken for 9G standard students. The topic taken for 9G was representative elements. On Tuesday(09/02/2021) : I took class for 9N students.. continuation of motion and laws of motion chapter was taken .The topic taken was mass and inertia , momentum  I took class from the chapter of periodic table,continuation of this chapter was taught.The topic taken for 9G students from  are periodic trends in the periodic table. ONLINE TEACHING REFLECTION-15

   Today was my last day of my online teaching practice session. I took topic electronegativityfrom the chapter periodic table. I started the class by taking attendance and engaged in casual talk . Students were given opportunity to answer a large set of questions which I believe might increase their competency in the subject matter. Some students had network issues. Apart from these issues ,the class went well. I discussed the topic eletronegativity through presentation. Today  marked the last online class of fourth semester teaching practice.  I never thought it would be possible even to take class for school students amidst of this pandemic situation. I am happy that I was able to complete the teaching practice session in a good manner.  I hope I can consider all the suggestions and remarks made by the teachers and use them to improve my performance in coming classes.

ONLINE TEACHING REFLECTION-14

   The fourteenth day of my teaching practice session began at 8am in 9N class. I shared Google meet link on whatsapp group and asked them to join the platform. I began the class by taking the attendance and engaged in an informal talk with students. Today I took the topic newtons third law of motion . I could effectively integrate images and videos inorder to covey the material. The students responded activeIy.I linked students answered effectively with the lesson.  I introduced the definition of newtons third law of motion I made the students read slides . Students responded well. I gave an activity for students as a homework. I concluded the lesson by summarizing the main point's. 

ONLLNE TEACHING REFLECTION -13

 Today I started thirteenth online teaching class  after taking the attendance and began the class. I checked the prior knowledge of students. They responded well. I took the topic metallic and non metllic characters. Pictures were displyed explainung the metallic and non metaic character in groups and periods. I followed all steps in the lesson plan. I megaphoned their doubts. I shared a slide on screen shows some questions, they answered all questions and it given me an assurance that they are understanding what I am saying. I was able to interact well with the students and to create a good rapport with students.
